1)Macarons
Pierre Hermé
They are famous for their signature macarons with 2 different flavours of macaron shell in one macaron! A few of the combination of flavours tasted surprisingly amazing even though we thought it was a strange combination at first. Don't be afraid to try those flavours that you have not heard/tried before, who knows you will love it? Get adventurous!

Ladurée
We also tried their Ispahan macaron with flavours of lychees, raspberries, and roses.
Take a closer look at the picture and you will see a tiny raindrop which was made as part of the decoration! How unique?!
When you bite into it, you will find chunks of fresh lychees which add more texture to the macaron. yum...

2) Street-style Crêpe
freshly made warm crepe tasted the best!
Le Kiosque des Fontaines
Banana and chocolate crepe, ham crepe and cheese crepe are the flavours that can't go wrong in crepes! Beware that one crepe for yourself may not be enough, we went back for another crepe on the same day!
They serve savoury crepe as well, in case you don't have a sweet tooth.
If you love baking like ourselves, you will enjoy watching them making the crepe, especially when they pour the gooey and thick chocolate spread over the crepe~

3) Pastries
Do you love pastries?
How about starting your day with pastries and coffee! We don't have a specific place to recommend for pastries lovers because you can get pastries everywhere in Paris and all we have tried were flaky and buttery, we love all of them!
4) Falafel
We have tried our first ever falafel in Paris and it is unforgettable.
Although it is not considered as the local cuisine in Paris, we thought it worth a try because the queue was long and it seemed popular in Paris.

We got this from L’As Du Fallafel. Their signature flavour is "falafel special", but our favourite was Schnitzel falafel. The outer layer of the snhnitzel was crunchy but not too dry when eaten with the flavourful sauces and refreshing vegetables.
5) Seafood
Paris isn't famous for seafood but this place very popular among the tourists. The price is worth the amount they served, they serve a big portion of fresh seafood together with fries and porridge cooked with seafood broth.
Pedra Alta serves various kinds of seafood in one plate. The one that we have ordered had squids, shrimps, lobsters, mussels served with crunchy and thin potato fries at the bottom.
