Travel in the UK |4 Must try matcha dessert in london| Lilac Suitcase

1) Kova Patisserie
We have tired their Matcha Mille crepe cake, strawberry shortcake and raspberry tart. They are all good desserts and we loved them all. Among the 3 desserts that we have ordered, Matcha Mille Crepe cake stood out the most! The cake itself is so moist and creamy and you will know that they use good quality matcha when you tasted it.

2) Shoryu
This place is well known for their ramen but we think their matcha ice cream was also the highlight of the restaurant. The matcha favour was quite strong (in a nice way) and
the ice cream was served with chocolate fingers, matcha brownie, ice cream cone, fresh cream and fruit. Overall it was a very full filling dessert!

3) Bone Daddies Shackfuyu
Bone daddies shackfuyu is a restaurant that serves a wide range of japanese dishes but we were there just to try Their s Kinako (soy bean powder) french toast that serves with matcha soft serve! Our cousin who studied in the UK highly recommended this dish so we thought we would give this a try.
To be honest, i was quite disappointed when i saw this dish. The soft serve looked like those normal macha-soft-serve that we can get everywhere and the french toast just looked like normal french toast dusted with Kinako. HOWEVER, we were mind-blowned when we tasted it! the french toast has a custardy center and the outer layer was slightly caramelized. The balance between the moistness and chewiness of the bread was just perfect. We think the key ingredient is the kinako, it gave nuttiness and a refreshing texture to the french toast. It tasted so good. We would definitely come back for this french toast again if we visit London next time!
